Sam Bankman-Fried's Language Foreshadowed the FTX Fraud
How was a smart but disheveled 30-year-old able to con $8 billion from so many customers and investors? Hint: It’s all in his language. We analyzed transcripts of ten SBF interviews conducted between 2020 and 2022, and find evidence of dark personality traits and predictors of fraudulent behavior.
